Background & Appreciation
Originally from Israel, I’ve been riding since the age of 10 and training reining horses since 2005. My standards, work ethic, and curiosity have always pushed me to keep learning -- studying, researching, and gaining experience across disciplines, industries, and perspectives.
I have been fortunate to be riding alongside some of the best trainers in the world and am thankful to anyone who have been kind enough to share their knowledge, insights and ideas with me. A special gratitude is owed to Andrea Fappani; The time I spent on his team forever enhanced my training mindset, standards and style.
Outside of horses, I’ve managed boutique hotels and high-end restaurants, worked in the music industry as an artist manager and event producer, and studied for a BSc in Information Systems with a specialization in cybersecurity. Those experiences shaped how I think about systems, structure, accountability, and consistency -- all of which are deeply integrated into my training program today.
-- RESUME
Training Approach
Reining is more than a sport to me -- it’s a way of thinking. It holds the ideals and philosophy I believe in. It’s more than the sum of its parts -- Every maneuver reflects the conversations that came before it and the horse’s state of mind in that moment. They only become meaningful when ability, attitude, and understanding are aligned.
At its core, my approach is built on clarity, accuracy, adaptability, and resilience. That's why my program is founded on consistency, intentional repetition, and attention to detail. I rely on facts and measurable results because they provide honest feedback and clear direction.
That's also why I love competition. Competition keeps me sharp. It exposes both strengths and weaknesses in the current state, giving me the information I need to fine-tune, recalibrate, and continue improving.
That mindset doesn't stay in the arena. The trust, focus, and accountability I practice with horses are the same principles that shape my communication style and everything else I do. I show up with clarity, commit with purpose, and keep learning.

PROGRAM
reining prospect

From first day under saddle to the show-pen.
Working on ground-work, body ques, guidance and maneuvers.
Promoting natural abilities, balancing individual challenges and continuously improving physical and mental levels.
2-3yr Olds
FUTURITY

This stage is about tapping into the high-level ability the horse is capable of.
Strength, precision, and expression are pushed as the horse reaches peak physical maturity. The work demands consistency, responsibility, and presence—raising performance without sacrificing mental stability, confidence, or willingness.
4-7yr Olds
DERBY

Focused on preserving the foundation while maintaining performance standards.
Maintenance work holds the horse accountable to the basics every day—details that are easy to assume and even easier to lose. The work keeps communication precise, the horse mentally sharp, and the body correctly conditioned, so the standard stays the same day in and day out.

STAGE - NOT AGE
Under ideal circumstances, we start horses at two years old and spend the next two years working with them every day. We develop the fundamentals until they become reliable, refine the horse's strength and skill until they are consistent, and create what we call a "finished" horse. From there, the horse learns to perform in the show pen according to their level and ability. With this quality - maintenance becomes easy.
These finished horses will have a lifetime of simple, light cues communication and stay wonderful, easy partners to their riders.
ANALOGY TIME: If you went to the gym, built strength, mobility, and skill, then stopped training, you wouldn't expect to stay in shape or perform at the same level. Horses are no different. Physical ability, mental security, and consistent performance are all maintained through regular, purposeful practice. You can't get in shape without working out. You can't retain your muscle if you stop. Horses are no different.
There is no magic wand that can create stability in fragments. Horses need a balanced routine to retain standards.
If you and you/your horse did not come through a solid program, you first have to understand what is missing:
UNDERSTAND YOUR HORSE'S CURRENT TIER and what it means to level up.
From FOUNDATION to SKILL DEVELOPMENT, to PERFORMANCE.
Where is your horse strong and where do they lack in clarity, confidence, understanding, or physical ability? This determines the current state and what work is required to progress.
UNDERSTAND YOUR OWN CURRENT RIDING LEVEL and what it means to level up.
Knowledge builds awareness. Experience develops your feel, timing, technique, and perspective, allowing you to judge and react to situations more accurately and achieve better and better results. Consistent practice turns all of that into a reliable skill.
Like any profession, sport, or art form, great riding is built through thousands of intentional repetitions, trial and error, and lessons learned from both failure and success. That's how riders develop their abilities, communicate clearly with their horses, have deep understanding on how and when to react, and continue leveling up.
My program is built on consistency -- that's what creates stability over time.
Each tier relies and builds on the one before it.
