MANE: She used to have a bit more volume. In my defense--she never had a big, thick mane to begin with, but yeah, I should’ve trimmed it evenly back when she was a 2-year-old, but I didn’t, and the long ones tangled too often and here we are.

So yeah, it’s me--I’m the problem, it’s me.
Give it 6-10 months and it’ll be back to normal.
